it's getting hot in here...

part two of seven [ one . two . three . four . five . six & seven ]
Our air conditioner is a piece of crap. The only way it cools the apartment outside of it's five foot "personal bubble" is if you put a fan in front of it and crank it full blast. And even then you have to stay in either the living room or kitchen to cool off... and since I'm in the bedroom - which is very, very far from the a/c, even with the fan - I'm sweating just sitting here. Which is as a attractive as it is comfortable.

Okay, so - the point of this post, I'll be busy all day importing and logging footage, to keep the site moving I thought I'd post the 2nd [of 7] bike trip slide shows. Enjoy.

Well :) you did have to go to the hospital... it didn't look good.

I should have put a little caption on that photo - some people just flip right past it without looking... liz did that and then went back and flipped out.

The picture of the tree in the middle of town. Where was that? Its such a cool looking tree with the roots reaching out along the ground.

Hey Chris,
That giant fig tree is at the intersection of Chapala St and Hwy 101 in Santa Barbara...

If you go to the google map I linked, and click on the satellite button... you can actually see the tree very easily. It's wider than the six lanes of highway it's sitting next to.

p.s. - Chris, I just went back and read your comment a few post back. I didn't realize you were Chris the (ex) price change guy from Target! It's good to hear from you. Thanks for checking out the site...

I have been reading your adventures ever since you decided to head west.

I was feeling creative and made a banner the other day for the site. I'm using it as my email signature line right now.

You can find it with some of the other banners I have created at http://tft.nacs.net/wahm
