Episode Two: Logistics

share this   |   'save as'   |   Democracy: Internet TV

The large majority of questions "slash" concerns (from people after watching Episode One) dealt with Pedal's exact process, and in relation to this; the exact results. 1) Who are we following? 2) Who are we interviewing? 3) Are we driving, or also riding bicycles? 4) How long will this take?

Which brings us to "episode two" - where I do my best to answer these questions as clearly as possible, while walking through what's to be expected during filming. As always I love to hear your feedback!
Special thanks to Len from LenEdgerly.com & Steve from SleeplessNights.com for their generous donations.

First, can I be that guy on the first page going "That was great!". If you can will you put glasses on him next time?

Second, I'm sorry I'm so poor I can't donate anything. I tell you what, forget that I-book you were getting me for my birthday and just use that money to put into pedal.

Third, this was an awesome post. Great job

Fourth, How many trees died to make this Vlog?

You can be which ever guy you want, Justin. As for the iBook... well :) that's a relief, thanks.

And thanks for the kind words!

As for the trees: not enough. Just kidding, I love trees. Now you have me feeling guilty. Ugh.

Loved it. No matter how Project Pedal goes, you should do another videoblog with your drawings. They are very charming and captivating.

Wow... that was AMAZING... This is an awesome project. I'm confused, though... I could have sworn I saw "Casey, Zadi" on the map... you weren't talking about me and Zadi Diaz were you?

Casey: Ha - to be honest, yeah, that "casey & zadi" was you and Diaz. And the Steve was Woolf, etc.

When I started drawing the map I realized I didn't know what names I was going to use - so I just started writing down people who's blogs and videos I loved.

Steve: Thanks! I definitely will.

Mike, you are amazingly talented. Steve's right, your illustrations should have their own videoblog - they're perfect. And you're narrative voice is very compelling. Can't wait for the series.

This clears up a lot. Great job on the illustrations! I like how you take what could be a traditional (read: seen it) documentary, and completely turn it upside down. Awesome. I didn't fully understand it until I watched episode 2. Now we just need to get you funded. Or maybe a sponsor? Hmm...

@Zadi: You're gonna make me blush :) I'm not so sure about my voice though... but thanks.

@Rick: I'm glad someone said that this cleared up a lot, I wanted to be sure it was clearly answering people's questions. And yes, funding/sponsorship is a very likable idea :)

I have a comment - Many Blog Directories ask for a reciprocal link and end up not listing your blog (this increases thier on page rank in search engines). I took the time to check and research Blog Directories in order to help bloggers focus their efforts in submitting thier blogs to directories who follow through. Before I give any bad recommendation about a directory, I contact them via email AT LEAST twice and try to get their response.
